1. Never use your full name in your profile.
2. Always use the in-app video chat feature to have a video call before your date!
3. Don’t list your social media accounts on your profile.
4. Don’t reveal any of your financial information online or send money to anyone online for any reason.
5. Even if the Generous member is paying for the date, always make sure you have at least enough money to get home on your own!
6. Always meet in a public place. Don’t reveal your home address to your date.
7. Make sure you tell a local friend or family member where you’re going.
8. If you’re uncomfortable with the conversation, end it — and don’t meet up!
9. Watch your drink! People get slipped date rape drugs at bars, festivals, concerts, and other events entirely too often. Any time you’re enjoying a drink in public, don’t let it out of your sight until you finish it.
